Me Singing Now

for the auditions for AGT and The Voice USA

The Voice

I think I can audition online, Blowin' in the Wind and something else.  You have to sign up to see.

My dad said...

...this is the best recording he's heard of me, I guess his favorite design.  I posted it earlier and started over.

Ballet

I guess they have a good deal, too, beginning and beginning/intermediate for 2 or 3 times a week, 10 classes for $150 and the classes are 1 1/2 hours each.

I'm gonna do it, I think, try out 1 or 2 classes, first.  At least, they are around my age more, I think.

Others's Ponderings

If people think others, especially young people and those around my age, I met seem more touched and emotional, I wonder why that leaves me out, in how I was raised around others.  Like, I see them curl up when I'm around, maybe, and it's attention-getting.  It even becomes a new race of people.  Like, I think people think that those who get in trouble are more convincing in their  ^veneration^ of them, older parental figures.  So, they have certain antics, maybe withdrawing at key moments and showing a lack of interest in behaving appropriately, rather than ruining everyone and anyone's lives; I can feel it now, I'm in trouble because of them, at least in some part in some way.  There's that leaving the nest and picking up others's peculiarities.

Hurt

Maybe, I just shouldn't care about people who won't stop being mean to me.

Halloween Candy

I got Hershey's and candy corn pumpkins for me to eat.

No Dance

I dunno.  I was one of the oldest, too.  It wasn't especially strenuous and ballet or dance is more like a craft, in some ways.  I'm trying to focus on violin and if that fails then organ but not for church to be a church organist.

Dance Classes

I took all the classes this week: Hip Hop, Intermediate/Advanced Jazz, and Contemporary, all for teenagers and adults.  There is some exercise at the beginning.  I'm getting better at remembering dance steps and feel healthier to add this to jogging 1/2 hour a day and doing a 5 minute core workout, which I try to do every day.  I don't really sweat when I dance, though, and think I did when I did ballet.  I can also drop in and do gymnastics for $15 somewhere else, which is offered once a week.  The dance is split into 2 days.  I want to go back to ballet after I get in better shape.  Well, I looked at the ballet and might try that out.  It's just they used to keep cancelling classes when there weren't enough people.  Now, you can sign up online and I think they tell you somehow if they cancel a class because I saw a cancelled class online of another kind.  Ballet classes can give you energy and strength.  As I advance, I can get better.

Auditioning for AGT

America's Got Talent.  I want to sing "Blowin' in the Wind" maybe and see what happens.  I've auditioned singing twice before and never got beyond that step.

Social Networking Platform Ghosts

Back in 2007 and 2008, I know MySpace was still popular and in its former format.  Of course, there was also Facebook.  It seems like it swallowed up real life, people who had just started college and had nowhere to go online but here, it seemed.  A lotta action seemed to slow down among people I was in any contact with.  Still, it seems like "a cruel irony."  Maybe, it just wasn't set up right.  A lotta people think Blogger is unimportant, too.  They have to have a gadget to post pictures with that go in an album and places for other people to post other than comments under a post maybe.  I am thinking it would be nice to have more graphics and, like, programs to make art to post, like as part of a post for example.  There was a company called "fancemail" that was supposed to be mail with a bunch of clip art as options to send back in, like, 1998 or 1999, but it never took off and its mission terminated.

Happy Halloween! and the Ghosts of IMDb

I remember the good old days on the IMDb Message Boards, when they were still running on IMDb.

There were people going around acting like they were Tim Burton.  I had been posting online about Sweeney Todd, and, like, all these people were into it.

There's one poster on IMDb who used to always appear around Halloween called Halloween Candy.

It was on Thanksgiving of 2008, the year I started posting on IMDb, that I was directed to the Soapbox and Sandbox boards, the social boards.  The Soapbox is rather popular.
